  19. F E A T U R E S:  
  20.  
  21. * ICONIFICATION: The MinMax button will let you hide away the keyboard when
  22.     you don't  need it and pop it back when you do. The MinMax button looks
  23.     like a little square attached to a bigger square.
  24.  
  25. * REMEMBERED LOCATIONS: The floating keyboard and icon locations are
  26.     remembered for consistancy. To move the keyboard or icon, drag the
  27.     border.
  28.  
  29. * POPUP EXTRAS: The Extras button which looks like a file folder will let you
  30.     access your applets and the builtin extras conserving  screen space.
  31.     Just click for a list of applets or press and hold until you hear the
  32.     "poof" sound and release for the builtins.
  33.     
  34. * REPEATING KEYS: Delete, Space and the Left/Right keys all repeat after a
  35.     delay.  Just keep holding the key to start multiple deletes, etc. If
  36.     you undo after this operation, >all< changes are restored!

  38. * MULTIPLE KEYBOARDS: Current keyboards include punctuation, numeric elements
  39.     and the alphabet. To the right of the minimize button, the Keyboards
  40.     button leads you to a list of keyboard  alternatives.  Send in your
  41.     ideas for new keyboards. The keyboards button looks like a stack of
  42.     keyboards, a filing cabinet or a triple domino depending on the time
  43.     of day and degree of inebriation.

  45. * TIMESTAMP: A special timestamp keyboard lets you mark the date and time.
  46.     
  47. * DIRECT ACCESS TO STYLES: The Styles button, next to the folder, gives you
  48.     immediate access to the styles slip. Super convenient! The styles
  49.     button looks like a set of line widths with a check next to them.

  51. * MOVEMENT AND EDIT KEYS: A standard palette appears next to the keyboard
  52.     supporting forward and backward delete, superbullet (bullet, return,
  53.     space),    tab, space,. return, move left and move right.

  77. 1. I figured out how to shrink protokeyboards (set saveBounds rather than
  78.     viewBounds) so the caret is now implemented.  
  79. 2. You can move left and right (but not yet up and down) non-destructively. I
  80.      used Unicodes FS and GS but still haven't found the right ones for
  81.     the  UP/DOWN...  
  82. 3. Keyboards now include (a) standard (b) short movement/delete/etc  (c)
  83.     numeric (d) alphabet.  If you have ideas for others send 'em to me.  
  84.     User custom kbds are still in the future.   
  85. 4. The script "i" leads directly to the styles dialog.  
  86. 5. Click on the folder pick from user applets.  Press and hold on the folder,
  87.     releasing when you hear "poof" and you will get the builtins and
  88.     books.  
  89. 6. Common keyboard functions: (tab, delete, left, right, space, return) have
  90.     their own palette area to the right of the keys. 
  91. 7. The multiple keyboard icon has changed to "stack of keyboards". (Use your
  92.     imagination.

  96. 1. Multiple keyboards are supported, even if the alternate ones are pretty
  97.     dumb. The heavy [+] button gets you there. [CHANGED in 0.4 to the
  98.     keyboard stack]  
  99. 2. Popup menus get you extra applets and builtins.  The folder button goes to
  100.     user added apps, the file cabinet gets you the builtin ones [Changed
  101.     in 0.4].  
  102. 3. Info box is no longer a popup but rather a floatnGo

  107. 2. You can "iconize" the keyboard (use the button in the upper left hand

  110.     keyboard and the icon are remembered.  
  111. 4. I haven't figured out how to do popup stuff bigger than the parent window
  112.     so the info box ([?] key) is a stupid popup list. [Changed IN 0.3]
